Since the beginning of his musical career over twenty years ago, MAX has never done things by halves. Renowned for his energetic and always entertaining live performances, he is just as passionate about his song writing and recording.

His musical style floats across several genres; sitting somewhere between flat out rock’n’roll and melodic infused acoustic blues.  All of which can be heard on the new album Axiomatic.

After successfully launching his album in Sydney recently, MAX is now ready to take his music to further corners of the continent and beyond.

“Tearing into Life, a song that is the perfect opener, with a chunky chugging bass line and dirty ass vocals, it exudes a Thin Lizzy vibe.  There's absolutely no restraint here from the crowd.  The dance floor is already grooving hard and loving it.  The first three songs of the night are in exactly the same order as on the album which is a brilliant idea.  You know what you are in for straight away as you're pulled into the whole essence of Axiomatic.”

Max is certainly no stranger to the big stage or festivals having opened up for some of Australia’s most iconic artists including Ian Moss, The Divinyls, The Living End and The Screaming Jets as well as performing at the Big Day Out.

Although MAX has been part of the Aussie music scene for two decades, his music remains fresh and relevant and is littered with catchy hooks.  Whether you’re looking for something to rock out to, some good open road driving music or kickin’ back on a comfy chair with a frosty beer in hand, Axiomatic has something for every occasion.

“The fourth track, the radio-friendly Summer Days, is a DRAGON-esque piece that keeps the Aussie rock theme pumping. Axiomatic then takes a mid-album dive into the blues. Monkey Messin’ Blues segues nicely into the dark, southern sounding Good Whiskey, Bad Girls. The title and premise of this song may seem clichéd and tired, but there’s still something original about it.”
